Description:

Designing products at BiCSoM is about turning dreams and ideas into lovable technology and design solutions. As a mindful member of the BiCSoM team you will be working and creating original pieces of artwork for the digital and print medium. On a daily basis you will collaborate with clients and internal team members to make sure you understand and sketch out their business needs into lovable vector illustrations. Large number of people across the globe use our products everyday, we take pride in wearing ‘Made with love in India’ on our sleeves.

What are we looking for?

  1. We expect you to have your domain knowledge of Comic art, cartoons, spot illustrations, and converting ideas into sketches which are focused for the targeted user base. You are someone who is comfortable with Affinity designer or Adobe Illustrator or similar inking applications
  2. Expert in English language
  3. There are few skills which you need to have from get-go:
    1. You are a problem solver, polite and someone who values team members and customers
    2. You respect time and understand, lost time never  comes back
  4. You can prepare story boards and rough sketch drafts according to the business requirements
  5. You are someone who can easily blend hand-drawings and paintings with digital art to create out of the box  illustrations
  6. Work on illustration softwares like Affinity designer or Adobe illustrator or any other similar inking/vector creation software
  7. You understand color harmony and colour theory for digital and print
  8. You understand and know how to create isometric 2.5d illustrations
  9. You love brainstorming with the team members and  come up with new ideas, patterns and styles
  10. You understand how to create a character family for illustrations
  11. You have 1 to 2 years of proven work experience as a Cartoonist or Illustrator
  12. You have a demonstrable portfolio of awesome illustrations
  13. You have great  knowledge of image editing and digital sketching softwares
  14. You have amazing drawing and painting  skills with razor sharp eyes that give attention to detail (both by hand and pen tab)
  15. You hold a Bachelor’s  or Diploma degree in Design, Visual Arts or Visual communication or similar

  1. Work location: Bengaluru city and Remote
  2. Working days – 6 days a week
